Peer pressure has mostly negative connotations, but it might be underrated as a power for good.

“You are the average of the five people with whom you spend the most time.”

If you want to achieve something, find a friend or group of people looking for the same thing. The momentum of the group and peer pressure will help you get there.

“People like us do things like this.”

If the people around you do great things, you are more likely to as well. If you do not like the things that your friends or community are doing, set an example for them or find a different tribe.

What are you doing to raise the average of the people around you?
