A group of us were out for drinks and someone brought up tipping. A friend said he always tips $1 for each drink ordered because he previously worked as a bartender.
Someone expresses doubt. “No way you’d do that if you buy 10 drinks.” My friend insists he would, but the naysayer is unconvinced. My friend orders a round of 10 beers for the group and tips $10.
You made your point, but was it worth it? Does it matter if someone doesn’t believe you live by your principles? Isn’t living by them what matters?
