A lot of small actions that seem insignificant add up more than we might expect. Sometimes it feels like nothing is happening, then suddenly a big change happens.
If the actions were detrimental, the change results in decline. The straw that broke the camel’s back looks the same as all the others. We know there are limits, but the next to last straw seemed fine, so we keep piling on. We go to bed too late, eat processed food, sit at our desks all day. It seems fine for a while and then we wake up and realize we’re out of shape or worse.
If the actions were helpful, the change is reflected in growth. Go to bed a little bit earlier, get out for a 20-minute walk each day, eat more whole foods. At first it doesn’t seem to do much. Then after a month or two, you suddenly notice how much better you look and feel.
Where are your actions leading you?
Great advice! Will do & share.
