It’s been more than a year since I wrote one of my favorite blog posts, Life in a beautiful state. The experience and reflection that inspired that post was so life-changing that I also wrote Life in a beautiful state – Part 2. Since then, I’ve been much happier, with few instances of anger or frustration.
I needed a refresher this past weekend after I succumbed to tech rage while working on our website. Not only did I feel terribly frustrated, poor Trish and Roli had to deal with my negative energy. As with most cases of tech rage I’ve experienced, it was my lack of knowledge that caused the issue.
The following day I was able to reflect and realize that, once again I was acting foolishly. Frustration doesn’t solve your problems and tends to cause its own. When things aren’t working as I expect they should, it’s best to search for an answer. No doubt someone else has experienced the same issue and written about how to fix it.
How do you avoid frustration and learn from those times when frustration gets the better of you?
It’s a human and humbling experience that we must accept. It makes us more forgiving and compassionate towards others.
Keep your sense of humor.
Glad you made it through that frustrating time.
Hugs!!
Now party on! 😄
Agree, it happens to the best of us. Hopefully, we can remember that and have empathy when we see others suffering.
