Welcome distractions

It’s amazing how productive you can be when trying to avoid a particular task. As I was preparing to write a blog post, I managed to create my to do list for next week, catch up on a bunch of emails and tidy the kitchen and dining room.

Maybe that’s one of the keys to being productive. Make sure your to do list includes items with a range of difficulty. You get all the other things done just trying to avoid the most challenging one. Side benefit – doing a bunch of the easier items gives you momentum and then you feel more ready to tackle something bigger.
