Avoid and prepare for risk

Many of my clients are at higher risk of falling. My highest priority is to help reduce this risk by improving balance. The ability to move with confidence pays off in everything you do. Even with great balance, it’s best to assume that you will fall at some point. Better to have skills to handle the unexpected than to hope it will never happen.

This is why many of my movement classes include getting down to the floor (and back up). Practicing these skills will make you stronger and improve your balance. It may also remove some of the fear of falling. Living in fear is a burden none of us should have to face.

What do you do to prepare for when things go wrong?
