Moderation

After a 19-year career in financial services, Jim left a leadership position to focus on health and fitness. His passion is empowering people to help resolve the pain, tension and insomnia that prevents them from living well.

I have a strong tendency to play devil’s advocate. This can be helpful or annoying depending on the situation. Many behaviors that are welcome in moderation become annoying when overused.

Since I became conscious of my excesses, I have moderated my devil’s advocacy. It still happens in my head and I exercise self-control to keep my thoughts to myself. To help my efforts, I offer empathy or ask questions.
