Do you know what the best diet is? The one that helps you reach your goals with the food that you’re willing to eat or unwilling to give up.
Yes, I’m being a bit cheeky.
It’s still true. A person who is focused on minimizing cancer risk and is vegetarian needs a different diet than the person focused on brain health who has high sensitivity to a lot of vegetables.
The best thing you can do is determine your goal, identify the foods that will help you get there and then decide which ones you’re willing to eat. It’s also helpful to know which foods will prevent you from getting there and decide which ones you’ll avoid. Once you decide what to avoid, “cheating” on your diet is really just cheating yourself.
What’s the best diet for you?
