A home for your art

Before I started this blog, my primary creative outlet was photography. Many of the photos I made never went anywhere. Some went into albums that Trish put together from our trips and a few others made it onto social media. Not much of a result for all of the time and money I spent. On one hand, I don’t mind. I enjoyed the process of making the photos and didn’t have an end in mind. On the other hand, maybe I would have been inspired to do more if my art had a home.

One of the unexpected benefits of writing this blog has been putting my photos out in the world. I need to make new photos almost every day to edit out failed efforts and still minimize repeats. And now that I’m into the swing of sharing, I will unearth my archive of negatives and slides and convert them to digital files. Maybe those old photos will see the light of day after all!

What is your creative outlet and do you have a home for the result?
