A small effort is better than none

I sometimes put off giving Roli an afternoon walk, thinking it’s going to be a big effort…Get him in the car, drive down to the lake, walk around for 30 or 40 minutes, back in the car to drive home.

Then we get into the garage and he walks past the car to go to the door. He doesn’t care about going somewhere else, he’s happy to walk around our neighborhood. Sometimes it even seems that he’d rather not get in the car. Maybe he’s wondering why we go to all the trouble of driving somewhere when we could just go for a walk.

What do you avoid that you could do with a small effort?
