Be part of the solution

If you see something that bothers you, you can get frustrated, walk on by or do something about it. If you’re not part of the solution, are you part of the problem?

I walk Roli at Lake Chocorua nearly every day. Sadly, some people seem to toss their trash on the ground instead of taking it with them. This week, I picked up several empty beer cans. The alternative was to leave them there and hope someone else picked them up. Otherwise, I would see them every time we’re there.

If we all pick up the litter we see on the trails, imagine how much cleaner it will be for everyone. With cleaner trails, maybe more people will think twice before they litter.

When you consider the problems that vex you, are you part of the solution?

I wish everyone would take up this challenge.

Yes!! My strict upbringing trained me to leave an area better than I find it.
“Pick it up” ….“Do a good deed.”
    Goody-two-shoes here! Ha!

    Excellent article… Thanks for sharing!
I will pass it on to my niece who is a trainer & lives in Montana.
    She should pursue this profession.
