Some things that are expensive are a great value. Cheap versions of the the same things might not be. Sometimes an attempt to save some money turns out to be a waste.
I was in Manchester a month ago and decided to hit a Marshall’s and get a bargain on some socks and such. Simple items, so I didn’t try anything on. Once I was home, I realized the fit and feel is ok, but not great. It wasn’t much money, but it feels like a bad deal.
Last weekend I went to the new REI in Conway. I spent what feels like a lot of money on gloves, warm socks and a couple of long sleeve shirts. Everything feels so good that I’m tempted to go back and buy some more. Expensive, but worth it.
When you reflect on your most satisfying purchases, did you focus on cost or value?
Not a shopper, but I try to go with value.
Quality in clothing is definitely more comfortable, looks better and lasts longer !
Especially socks ! 👍😊
Lesson learned. No more skimping on socks.
