Looking for the next great thing might be a waste of time. If you have things that work, keep doing them unless they stop working. Ideally, do the important things every day. If you don’t have time to do what’s important, you may want to rethink how you spend your time.
In our movement classes, there a few things that I cover every week. They are the best exercises that I have found for a big impact on most people. As tempting as it is to chase variety, that’s probably not what we need. Most of us need to find a few things that work really well. Once we find those, we should do them frequently. Unless they stop working, there is little need to look for something new.
What do you do to make sure you daily routine includes what’s important?
