Enjoy every step

After a 19-year career in financial services, Jim left a leadership position to focus on health and fitness. Jim is a Master Practitioner of Applied Movement Neurology and holds Certificates in Applied Functional Science and 3DMAPS from the Gray Institute. His passion is empowering people to help resolve the pain, tension and insomnia that prevents them from living well.

In any job or passion I have had, there is always some tedious work to be done. if you are not willing to do the tedious stuff, you probably won’t get really good or be successful at anything.

One way to persevere is to use the fun and interesting stuff to build your excitement, then let the momentum of your excitement carry you through the grind. Another option – if you are on a journey that makes you happy, find a way to enjoy every step. As Ido Portal once said about the rigors of practicing movement for hours every day, “It doesn’t have to be fun to be fun.”

Do you value the importance of your tedious tasks?

Marketing … I’ve not done it yet other than wrote a few posts … I actually think I will enjoy the challenge once I get into it …

Data and feedback to spike some interest and maybe fun to switch things up once I get going…

Yes, I am sure you will enjoy the challenge. The key is to get going. Once you are doing it, you can find ways to make it fun.
