Every benefit has a cost. If you can’t see the cost, it might be building up over time and surprise you later.

To get in great shape, you must pay with effort in how you eat and exercise. To build up your savings, you must live below your means. If you borrow money to buy something you can’t afford, you pay extra in interest.

Do some costs have no benefits? When you get frustrated, you lose peace of mind. If it happens a lot, you might have negative health effects. Is there any benefit?

Are your negative thoughts and emotions giving you any benefit? If not, will you choose a different path?
