It’s peak foliage season here in the mountains. Stunning colors everywhere you look. One price of this joy is hordes of leaf peepers invading the area.

Everywhere I go, people are taking pictures. Walking around the lake, pulled over on the side of the road. Sometimes driving slowly to get a shot out the car window. I wonder how chasing photos affects their experiences.

I saw some amazing sunsets this week. I was either driving or walking Roli somewhere without suitable scenery, so no photos. In a way, this might have been better. Instead of focusing on getting the perfect shot, I drank in the incredible colors.
