Feel good or grow

If you want to feel good, surround yourself with people who see you as the best. The upside is that you might inspire others to improve. People want to be the best and will chase your performance. The downside is that you might not improve as fast. If you’re not chasing someone else, you will need something else to push you.

If you want to grow, surround yourself with people that are better than you. Seeing what’s possible might empower you to push past your previous limits. The downside is that you might not spend much time in the winners’ circle or your comfort zone. If this is too hard for you, find a group of people who support each other. Their support might help you feel good while you grow, the best of both worlds!

Does your tribe help you feel good, grow or both?
