My gym reopened and I’m feeling it. I went to two classes last week and two more this week. As usual, I did plenty of things I wouldn’t do on my own.
I did lots of running, rowing, burpees, push-ups and plenty of other things that will help me become more fit. Most of the workouts were festivals of suffering. I’m unlikely to exert such effort without a coach pushing me or other people suffering beside me.
The best part is that I just need to show up. Once I’m there, I will do what the coach asks, no motivation required. As much as it hurts at the time, I know it’s good for me in the long run.
Where do you find inspiration to do the things you need that you might otherwise avoid?
After reading today’s blog, I straightened up & decided to exercise this morning.
