When Trish was working on her Masters in Architecture thesis, the founding partner (Peter) of her firm told her, “You know what is most important about your theses? Get it done.” I remember Trish and I debating this back then. She thought it was not that simple, it has to be good enough, etc.

Of course, with any big project or goal, there a lot of things that need to come together. Still, I agree with Peter on this one. The most important thing is to get it done. You can endlessly work on your thesis, making it better and better, but never finishing. If your goal is to graduate, finishing your thesis is paramount.

Do you have something you have been trying to do, but it is never good enough? What would happen if you set your priority on get it done?
