Sometimes procrastination pays off. Trish and I decided to tackle a leaky faucet today (leaky spout and handle). Result – we are heading to buy a new faucet tomorrow. Apparently, corrosion had turned our kitchen faucet into a house of cards.

Of course we had to deal with the wonky faucet eventually. Nonetheless, I am left feeling that drips aren’t as bad a shelling out a bunch of cash to get a new faucet. It reminds me of a an old saying with a twist, “Don’t just do something, stand there.”

When has taking action turned out worse for you than doing nothing?
