I have a habit of avoiding tasks that involve setting up appointments, especially when it’s going to cost me. Yesterday, I finally called the auto shop to arrange new tires for my summer car. Thinking I could get them quickly, I kept putting it off until the weather warmed up.

I foolishly failed to consider our current environment. The bad news is the tires are on back order until the end of June. If I can’t get my inspection sticker, I will be stuck driving the Jeep instead. The only consolation is that I don’t have to pay for the tires until they are installed.

I learned my lesson and promptly called to set up appointments for a Roli checkup and to get our septic tank pumped. Luckily, I got the two appointments I needed with no issues. In the end, doing them seemed so easy that I wonder why I had waited.

When do you procrastinate?
