I’m wrong about something

There are things I now believe to be true that I previously thought were false. There are other things that I was sure were true that I no longer believe.

The phrase that describes my idea of a good way to live comes from Ryan Holiday, “Strong Opinions Loosely Held.” When facts support my thinking, I need compelling evidence to change my mind. At the same time, I should actively seek evidence that contradicts my thinking in case I am wrong. When the evidence is compelling, I must change my mind.

What’s something significant about which you’ve changed you mind?

PS – If you cannot recall anything significant on which you’ve changed your mind, it may be time to consider whether you could be more open-minded. (If a stubborn old man like me can do it, you can too.)
