More gifts

Yesterday’s blog reminded me of another memory. When Trish and I decided to get married in Sedona, Arizona, we knew that some people that we wanted there might not be able to make it.

A woman at work (different than the one I mentioned yesterday) told me, “You should invite people that you know won’t go. That way they’ll send you a gift.” It seemed like selfish and shallow advice and I ignored it. I’m sure she meant well and maybe I misunderstood where she was coming from.

I think it’s time to let these negative memories go. What memories are you holding onto that you can let go? (To make room for new, better ones.)
