You can feel, move and sleep better!

Do you have chronic pain, muscle tightness, balance or sleep issues?  Applied Movement Neurology (AMN) uses gentle touch to resolve excess tension, inhibited muscles, pelvic floor dysfunction and more.  Jim is a Master Practitioner of AMN, a therapy system based on functional neurology, complex movement and bio-electricity.

How Do I know If Movement Therapy is Right For Me?

You have balance, pain or mobility issues that prevent you from doing what you want or achieving your goals. You’re ready to take steps to improve. These are some of the ways I can help.

Improve your balance

I will assess the cause of your balance issues and have several techniques to help you get immediate improvement.

Reduce or eliminate pain

I will assess the causes of your pain and help restore healthy functions.

Restore pelvic floor function

I will assess the reflexive control of pelvic floor functions and correct inhibitions that lead to issues.

Improve your posture

I can help improve spinal stability to improve your balance and posture.

Reduce nerve pain

I will identify neural tension or compression and can often give you immediate relief.

My Approach

I will test your balance, muscle strength and movement to set a baseline and get an understanding of your issues. I then assess and calibrate your nervous system function using gentle touch and muscle testing.

As I calibrate different areas, we retest to determine how much you have improved and whether issues require further calibration. I will then teach you movement drills that you can use to reinforce treatment.

Many people see significant improvement in just one session! More complex cases can often be resolved in 6 or fewer sessions.

What do my clients say?

I would like to thank Jim for making my life so much better. In April 2018 I had my first appointment, skeptical for ever getting help to walk correctly after an accident in 2017. The first appointment I crawled into see Jim and an hour later I walked out with excitement that I was finally walking painless. I would recommend anyone who doesn’t feel well to make an appointment, it will change your life.
Shelley

Without your sessions I would be taking double the blood pressure medication. You fixed my adrenal gland which my Dr. in Boston said was the problem. Also being a yoga teacher helping my muscles was most important. You are my hero.
Elly

I don’t know what he did, but I haven’t slept this well in 10 years.
