Options give you freedom

His passion is empowering people to help resolve the pain, tension and insomnia that prevents them from living well.

One of the keys to resilience is adaptability. Adaptability is a function of the options you have. Take movement as an example:

  • Can you get down to the floor and back up? Can you do it without using your hands?
  • If a fallen tree is blocking your hiking trail, can you go over or under or do you have to go around?
  • Can you confidently get up and down stairs without the help of a railing?

If you want to increase your options, push your edges and get out of your comfort zone. As you try new things, you will become more confident and resilient.

How do you feel when your limitations prevent you from continuing on? Are there things you want to do that are too challenging at this time?

PS – Novelty is one of the things we focus on in our movement classes. If you want to give yourself more options, come move with us.
