Process beats goals

It’s hard to believe that 2019 is almost over. A month from now, many people will seek a new start with the ever popular New Year’s resolution. I’m not a big fan of the tradition. If you want to make a change, why wait until the new year? On the other hand, if a new year is the motivation you need, go with it.

Have you struggled to achieve your goals in past years? Maybe it’s time to try something different. Instead of setting a goal, choose a new behavior. If you want to lose weight, resolve to eat fresh food and go for a walk every day. If you want to get strong, resolve to lift weights three times per week. If you want to feel rested, resolve to go to bed by 10pm (earlier if needed to get 8 hours of sleep).

The key to achieve any goal is to consistently take actions that lead you towards the goal. What simple action can you take to head in the right direction?

    Good idea!!
I need to clear out my room, so every morning on my way out, I will take at least two things and throw them away . 👍😁
