Stop and think

After a 19-year career in financial services, Jim left a leadership position to focus on health and fitness. Jim is a Master Practitioner of Applied Movement Neurology and holds Certificates in Applied Functional Science and 3DMAPS from the Gray Institute. His passion is empowering people to help resolve the pain, tension and insomnia that prevents them from living well.

One of the responses to Get back on the horse was someone who wants to watch eating habits & make better choices. I’m in the same boat so I suggested a challenge for the next week:

When we’re reaching for the bad choice, ask ourselves, “Is it worth it?”

She added, “And wait for the Honest answer.”

I’ve written about this before and I’m happy to be reminded to stop and think. It already helped me when I went out to grab lunch yesterday. This little push is exactly what I needed and I look forward to seeing some results over the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Would you make some different choices if you pause to ask yourself, “Is it worth it?” and wait for an honest answer?

I wish it was faster. Sustainable results are worth the wait.
