When someone announces an audacious goal, our instinct is often to talk them out of it. Are we trying to protect them from what seems to be inevitable disappointment?

It’s not our job to judge whether someone’s dream is achievable. Who are we to say what’s possible?

If someone wants it bad enough and is willing to do whatever it takes, maybe they can achieve what seems impossible. Even if they never reach their goal, maybe the struggle is worth it. Falling a bit short of an audacious dream is better than achieving a humble one.

What do you do to support the dreamers in your life?
