The ghosts of habits past

My July challenge taught me something valuable. Habits from the past come back more easily.

For good habits, that’s great news. A focus on tidying every day in August was a breeze. Just a few minutes a day and the house feels so much better. Now that I remember how great it is, I will keep it going. It also gives me confidence that I can bring back other good habits without too much effort.

On the downside, some of my bad habits are coming back to haunt me. Yes, bad ones seem to come back more easily, too. Grabbing lunch out more often seems to lead to unhealthy choices. This is not news to me, I’ve made this mistake in the past. Time to rein it back in.

Which of your habits do you find come back most easily? Maybe August can be your time to bring back a good habit. Are you up for the challenge?
