The silliness of road trips

We were on a long drive down a typical American road with lots of businesses and signs along the way. On this particular road, one that always catches our eye.

Just Oil
and More

Wait, what? Is it just oil or oil and more? I imagine sitting in the meeting,

CEO. “We have decided to expand beyond oil.”
Me. “Uh, should have considered that before we named ourselves “Just Oil”?
CEO. “No worries, we will update the sign to add, and more.”
Me. 😮

As we were laughing about this a commercial for Bootleggers came on. Are they smugglers or do they sell boots? I said, maybe it should be Legbooters. This set us off on lots of ideas..if you sell gloves, call it handglovers; socks? foot sockers.

Amazing, we just came up with concept for a clothing line! Ah, the silliness of road trips.
