Trish and I were talking about writing styles and it got me thinking. For every creative art, there are many styles. Everyone has their favorite, but who’s to say which is best?

As a creator, you have to do something that feels right. Choose a style that you love, one that appeals to your audience or one that accomplishes what you’re trying to achieve. There is no “right” answer and if you try to please everyone, you won’t please anyone.

How do you express your creativity and what drives your style choices?
